The Story

John Wahlberg works nights and weekends for billable hours and the promise of a secure future. Lyndsey Palmer wants more. She's blue-blood, well-bred, and has plans for John's career beyond the firm. Estranged from his own family, John burns the midnight oil before heading West for the Christmas holidays to propose to Lyndsey and embrace her family's expectations.

A snowstorm diverts John's flight to New Mexico, where, exhausted and out of his element, John's rental car breaks down along a lonely stretch of highway. Stranded in the high mesas just outside of Taos, old wounds surface, and new perspectives emerge as John gets caught up in the events of the mystical town. Lost in the desert of Taos – where life finds its balance – John questions if dreams truly can become a reality.
